Northern Stage's Christmas Charity Raffle 2025

About our Christmas charity raffle

Win an array of amazing prizes whilst supporting a great cause this festive season.

To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is purchase a raffle ticket online. Charity raffle tickets are £3 each and you can buy more than one to increase your chances of scoring a prize!

The proceeds from each charity raffle ticket sold will help fund Northern Stage’s Pay It Forward appeal. This scheme helps us offer free or heavily subsidised theatre tickets, workshop places and bursaries for children, young people, and community groups who may not otherwise be able to take part in the arts. So, whether you win one of our fabulous prizes or not, your tickets will help us share the gift of theatre.

You can find answers to more questions on our charity raffle below. Terms and conditions apply.

Prizes will be announced later on in 2025.

How much is it?

Raffle tickets are £3 and you can purchase multiple for more chances of winning one of our fantastic prizes!

How do I get my raffle ticket?

You can purchase raffle tickets online on our merch page: Merchandise | Northern Stage or by calling Box Office on 0191 230 5151 between 12am-4pm Mon-Fri.

Once purchased, you will receive a confirmation email, which confirms your entry to the raffle and will have your order number on (we recommend making a note of this and keeping this email safe as we will announce winning order numbers on this webpage and our socials following the draw). You will also receive a thank you email for your participation.

When will the raffle be drawn?

The winners of the raffle will be randomly selected on 7 Jan 2026. Winners of the draw will be contacted and informed on how to collect their prize from Northern Stage.

How will I know if I’ve won?

Winners will be notified by telephone or email after 7 Jan when the raffle will be drawn. A list of winning order numbers will also be published on this webpage and our socials.

Your order number can be found on your confirmation email.

What do the proceeds go towards?

Northern Stage is the region’s only mid-scale producing theatre, producing and co-producing plays; running talent development programmes; and delivering young people’s projects. But did you know that we are a registered charity?

In the North East, rates of child poverty are some of the highest in the country (North East Child Poverty Commission). Growing up in poverty can have many effects on children’s mental and physical health. It can mean facing barriers to engagement in arts and culture in the North East, as well as difficulty accessing local training and skills development.

The proceeds of our Christmas raffle this year will be supporting our Pay It Forward appeal which helps us to offer free or heavily subsidised tickets to our shows, and workshop places and bursaries to children and young people who may otherwise be unable to attend. Thanks to generous donations from audiences, Members, Supporters, Business Club partners and funders, we raised a massive £27,000 for Pay It Forward in 2024. This year, we’re ambitious to raise even more – and you can help us!

You can donate by purchasing raffle tickets, and by making a donation. You can donate online or at one of our donation stations on your next visit to us.

If you would like to know more about the success of our 2024 appeal, you can check out our blog Pay It Forward Christmas Campaign: A Day in the Life.
