Northern Stage is the largest producing theatre company in the North East of England, and a cultural asset within the region. Every year we welcome 80,000 audience members to our venue in the city centre of Newcastle.
We are a theatre informed and transformed by our local community, but with a national presence, strong networks and work touring across the UK.
Northern Stage works closely with business partners to develop exciting and mutually beneficial partnerships.
As a registered charity (no. 700055), your support will enable us to continue creating quality work for the stage and raising the aspirations of young people through our engagement projects.

Business Club
As an industry-leading theatre we appreciate that being part of strong networks, and working in partnership, allow you to achieve much more than you would alone. All of our Business Club members are invited to exclusive networking events to connect with other organisations in the region that share common interests.
Other club benefits enable you to host clients at our productions, use Northern Stage’s Mezzanine space for corporate activity, and attend exclusive Northern Stage Guest Nights and Season Launch.
Investing in your local community
If your business is aiming to fulfil social responsibility criteria, or is interested in philanthropic giving more generally, there are a number of ways that you can give back to your local community through Northern Stages Business Club.
At Northern Stage our participation activities address structural inequalities, primarily focusing on young people to increase their confidence, resilience and wellbeing – giving them agency to have impact on the world. We seek to support communities on their own journeys and develop sustainable relationships and trust through open dialogue and co-creation.
Members of our Business Club can make an additional donation towards our community work and feature in Northern Stage e-newsletters with acknowledgement of your support.

Our projects vary in their objectives, which range from increased technical skills and career aspirations to improved wellbeing and decreased isolation.
Re-enforce your brands values and priorities by sponsoring a community project that aligns with them.
You will have the opportunity to meet Northern Stage’s Participation Team and receive updates about their work.
Pay It Forward
We believe theatre has the power to bring people together in extraordinary ways. Our Pay It Forward Scheme provides free or heavily subsidised tickets and activity for young people and community groups, who would otherwise be unable to attend the theatre.
Donate to our Pay It Forward Scheme and you will be sharing the magic of theatre with a school or community group in the local area.
