Performer bios

Patti Boo Rae
Patti Boo Rae is the rootinest tootinest cowgirl east of the Atlantic; the Northeast’s premiere southern songstress; the Annie Oakley of drag. Since 2022, Patti has been dazzling audiences with her vocals and unique brand of cuntry-western cabaret. No two Patti shows are alike, but one thing’s for sure: you’re in for a wild ride.

Joseph Bell

Joseph Bell, a proud queer voice from Newcastle Upon Tyne, began his musical journey with a degree in Pop Music. However freshly out of university a rare condition caused significant hearing loss, threatening his career. Faced with this challenge, Joseph contemplated giving up but found hope and resilience through introspection, digging deep and carrying on with his passion.

Influenced by Luther Vandross, Kate Bush, and Jessie Ware, Joseph discovered his unique sound, blending house, soul, and synth pop. His music narrates his journey of overcoming adversity and evolving creatively. Each note and lyric represents healing and celebration, inviting listeners to join his continuous journey of discovery and expression.

Tito Bone

Tito Bone is your average blind, non-binary, bisexual drag king who just wants you to smell the world through their nose, ya know? They are a true triple threat: they sing, dad dance, and audio describe, all while wearing large amounts of eco glitter. Tito’s mission is simple: to entertain the masses through socratic irony and political satire. They also strive to prove that making accessible art is the epitome of cool. Tito Bone shares a body with Amelia Lander-Cavallo, a multi-disciplinary artist and one half of Quiplash (@quiplashlondon) – a queer, crip (quip) performance project that is taking space for Deaf and disabled people across the LGBTQQIA+ spectrum.

Tiny Temper

Tiny Temper is a Drag King, Host and Performer from Newcastle, based in Middlesbrough. Tiny Temper is known for creating camp, silly, satirical drag numbers that incorporate lipsync, physical comedy and elements of clowning. Tiny might be short in stature, but he’s large in life and excited to bring Drag King history to Northern Stage.

Stevie Wonderful

Stevie Wonderful aka Fiona King is a Black Queer Disabled artist and first ever “King of the Castle” Drag King. Work as a Stevie Wonder impersonator called Stevie Wonderful, they sing, host and entertain across a variety of settings including Pride Events, AGMs and celebrations.

There are two entrances to the theatre, Kings Road Entrance (this is the taxi drop-off/collection point) and the Main Entrance.

Both level entrances have automated doors. These lead into the foyer area where you will find the Restaurant, Bar, Box Office and entrances to Stages 1, 2 and 3.
