An illustration of characters in The Sorcerers Apprentice

NS Archive 2022: The Sorcerers Apprentice

Sat 3 Dec 2022 – Sat 7 Jan 2023

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice returns to cast its magic this Christmas, putting a modern Northern Stage spin on a classic tale.

Young Hatty Rabbit thought she was just a normal Geordie lass, a nothing, a nobody, not destined for anything great, but she couldn’t have been more wrong. Hatty embarks on a magical adventure through the streets of Newcastle (but not as you know them) on her quest to become The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

A good vs evil caper, filled with original music, puppets, eye-popping colours and magic, as Terry Pratchett meets Labyrinth.

Bubbling with wit and charm, and a message that everyone matters. Nobody is a nobody.
