In The Community
We believe that the diverse creative skill sets inherent in theatre making can be used to facilitate meaningful and long-lasting change in people’s lives. We seek to support our communities on their own journeys and aim to develop sustainable relationships and trust via open dialogue, co-creation and strong partnership working.
Our work to address structural inequalities is currently focussed in Byker. We work with residents using creativity to transform lives by exploring, questioning and understanding our relationship with the world around us.
We believe that everyone should have equal access to those transformational experiences and we are committed to a long term relationship with the community to realise its full potential.
Our work in Byker engages with all ages, prioritising relationship building and empowering residents to take a leading role in their own involvement.
