We’re looking for 10 people from the North East aged 16+ to be part of our forthcoming production of Mike Leigh’s cult-classic comedy Abigail’s Party directed by Jack Bradfield, winner of the Royal Theatrical Support Trust Sir Peter Hall Director’s Award.
You’ll join the cast on stage as part of a community chorus of teenage partygoers to feature in a specific moment in the show. These will be non-speaking ‘supernumerary’ roles. Northern Stage will provide you with appropriate costume elements.
There will be one short rehearsal session, two dress rehearsals and then performances from 13 – 18 September.
You’ll receive an expenses payment of £20 per max 4 hour session (i.e. £20 for every rehearsal and every performance).
Who are we looking for?
- You must be aged 16 or over with a playing age of approx. 15-16 years old
- To represent the diversity of our region we particularly welcome applications from people from the global majority and/or with a disability.
