We believe in the power, flair and energy of young people and we make it our priority to offer unmissable opportunities.
We connect up with excellent artists, and pour our energy and resources into ideas that young makers have the desire and dream to make happen.
Young Company is a brand new programme of innovative, dynamic projects and opportunities for young people aged 16 - 21 in the North East. A place to discover and develop your talents, skills and flair, to meet new people and have a blast.
We work collectively. We co-design projects. We meet, create and rehearse at Northern Stage and in different locations across the city.
We are making a number of brand new projects with partners across the city, investing our energies into ideas that are burning in our young people and whose voices and stories might be unheard and untold.
We actively seek to present and make work in partnership with arts companies, charities, community groups and organisations across the North East.
If you have a great idea for a project, or if you know a group of young people who would like to collaborate, then please contact Louie Ingham, Associate Director, and let’s start a conversation.
