Auditions for Alice in Wonderland

This Christmas Northern Stage will be following on from the hugely successful James and the Giant Peach with a musical version of Alice in Wonderland, written by Theresa Heskins, directed by Mark Calvert.

We're looking for performers from or based in the North East to audition this Thursday and Friday, the 15th & 16th June. 

Performers must be highly skilled actor musicians.

We're looking for a company of 8. Four female, four male. 

• You must be highly skilled on at least one instrument. Two is preferable, in particular we are interested in accordion, violin, guitar or brass such as trumpet and trombone.

• You must be able to sing to very high standard

• You must have a background in devising as well as working with text
• You must be able to dance to recognised standard. Also some aerial skills would be preferred but not essential.

You will be asked to prepare a 2min unaccompanied cabaret style song and a 1 min instrumental version of a cabaret style song, you will also be sent a piece of text for you to read at the audition. You will not need to learn it.
